The Start of LAM-Uganda

Love All ministries Uganda was established in March 2013 by Nixon and Chasity Katabira. “We started in our home which served as a youth center with one staff that was willing to serve without any payment after hearing God calling her to join us.

I was born and raised by a single Mom in Lugazi town in Uganda.  Growing up, my family struggled to pay for school fees. With a single hard working mom, we started growing our own food, Keeping  our animals, and birds. It was hard work, and hard to balance both school and work, but it bonded us as a family, and we never desired to be somewhere else other than our beautiful little home where we felt loved by our Mom, and worked together as a family. We knew we had each others back, but the reality is that God has always had our backs.

At the age of six years old, I was drawn to a nearby Pentecostal church by the gospel music that I could hear from our home.  From there my musical talent became evident and my relationship with Jesus began to progressively grow.

With the help of compassion sponsorship programs I was able to graduate from high school. music became a tool to use for positive change in the community which values music, especially young people. I put my hopes in Christ as I started writing worship music with my friends that was enjoyed by young people and performing it at many churches.  Since then, I have had the opportunity to organize  youth conferences , and seminars. visited school in the United Kingdom, and completed Discipleship Training School with YWAM (Youth With A Mission).I was called to full-time youth ministry in 2007 and in 2013 started Love All Ministries Uganda with my wife Chasity in my hometown of Lugazi with a mission to Love, Disciple and Empower young people ( youth and Children in all aspects of life ).

I was born and raised in Winkler, Manitoba. My whole life I grew up going to church and God has always been a huge part of my life.  I was involved in various church youth groups at an early age and when I was 19 I completed Discipleship Training School with YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in Perth, Australia.  I completed additional training at the Bible School for the Nations in Madison, Wisconsin and Leadership Training School in Tijuana, Mexico and participated in missionary trips to DR Congo and Uganda where I was involved teaching and training church leaders in very remote areas. It was on this outreach I also met my husband Nixon!

When I was asked to go back to Congo to continue to build on the training we had started, I agreed because I believe that God had given me a heart and a vision for the young people in Africa.  After marrying Nixon, we moved on with the call and in seeking the Lord for our next Life experience by establishing Love All Ministries Uganda together, with a mission to love, disciple and empower young people in all aspects of life.
