There is a lot that has been going on this year, and we have been challenged differently. In times like this, there is only one thing that can hold things together. This is our faith (total dependence on God). In God, we find hope and the meaning of life even when things seem to be falling apart. We want to let you know that we think about you and pray for you. YOU ARE LOVED!
As we remember the birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ, we can not forget the reason why he is born.
John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life".
Jesus came on earth in the form of a child born to be the perfect sacrifice for our sins, and when we accept him as our Lord and Saviour we don't perish.
Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Jesus was born to restore our relationship with God, and now we have the assurance of eternity. Our willful choice to accept Jesus allows transformation in our lives from the old self to a new creation. We are born again because Jesus came. We celebrate Jesus for the gift of salvation.
